New Song-Invisible Bridge

I feel like I have been waiting for so long

To tame this force who eats the pages of my songs
To steal my destiny and throw away the key
Leaves me wondering about the spirits that follow me....

oh, oh, oh, oh, ..oh, oh, oh, oh....

Magic is walk inside a sacred place
In these two worlds we will live and just embrace
And inbetween there lyes a path thats paved with gold
It holds the legend that our soul has never told...

My past I do seek
As I swim in the river of the weak
I search the centuries The Invisible Bridge, The Invisible bridge
Old book of my past lives
Scarab Wings and Fire Flies
The Story will arise
On the Invisible, Invisible, Invisible Bridge...

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh.....

When our souls ascend our atoms split into
Pieces of ourselves spin in a magic brew
And when we take a look into each others eyes
We all see ourselves but we just wonder why...

My past I do seek
As I climb this mountain peak
The ground is a mystery on The Invisible Bridge, The Invisible Bridge
Pioneers of History
Take a look and you will see
The Fool is the card to be on The Invisible, Invisible Bridge

(Invisible Bridge Guitar)

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh......

-Poem- Medium Tornado

Written October 2009
Photobucket
Color orange in my belly
Spinning cycle like the sun
Run away with creativity
Don't let magic come undone
I've been seeing prophecy
Not the kind that man created
It's a spinning medium tornado
That this culture has confiscated
They take the Nobel Peace Prize
Place it in a grave
Cover it in a soldiers ashes
Who's soul will never be saved
These thirsty blood rite rituals
Being performed on sacred battle grounds
And all the kingsmen laugh
As their king is finally crowned
Are they doing their ancestors justice
By conquering this land?
The answers are inside of you
What do you command?
Take this pale of water and dump it over your head
Breathe in clarity of h20
Breathe out everying you've been fed
Color green in my heart
Pushing upward with tiny quakes
Make your way through the ionesphere
HAARPS waves you shall never fear
You grow through compassion
You are the healer
You will sprinkle your wounds tight
With a sparkeling concealer
And everything you've ever known will suddenly burst into flames
Wither away the madness
Burn away the mind games

Releasing Cultures Chains - A Shift

I wrote Cultures Chains Fall of 08 - You can hear the album version on my Myspace Music
Both produced By our FML shaman producer Mr. Josh Reeves! (Global Reality theme plays)

I'm releasing a shift in the cosmos dry air today
Gemini is crying and Aquarians won't go away
I take a deep breath as the house on my back starts to Sway
I lay it down slowly and break out of Cultures Chains
And then Blow it away

Take Hermes breath and make it yours
Force negative ions through the floor
I said, it's a state of emotion
Powerful potion you've injected inside of me
I just blow it away

The Eagle keeps flying as he conquers the skies from within
The jellyfish keeps swimming thinking water was made just for him
Homo sapiens think we'll conquer time and space
There is so much Love to give we must care and embrace this place
BEFORE WE TAKE IT AWAY!

Take Virgo's heart and make it yours
Draw the constellations on your neighbors door
It's a state of emotion
Powerful potion you've injected inside of me
Don't let them take it away!

I'm releasing a shift in the cosmos dry air today..

This song was inspired by a series of books written by Daniel Quinn. A very special person in my life, Christopher Small introduced me to "Ishmael" and "The Story of B" and they changed the way I looked at humanity and the earth as a whole forever.

-Quotes from Ishmael-

-"You're captives of a civilizational system that more or less compels you to go on destroying the world in order to live."

-"It was not only the Jews who were captives under Hitler. The entire German nation was a captive, including his enthusiastic supporters. Even if you weren't personally captivated by the story, you were a captive all the same, because the people around you made you a captive. You were like an animal being swept along in the middle of a stampede. The people of your culture are in much the same situation. Like the people of Nazi Germany, they are the captives of a story."

-"There's nothing fundamentally wrong with people. Given a story to enact that puts them in accord with the world, they will live in accord with the world. But given a story to enact that puts them at odds with the world, as yours does, they will live at odds with the world."

One of my favorite parts of the book talks about an imaginary scientist encountering a jelly fish thousands of years ago where it peaked the evolutionary path. The scientist asks the jelly fish how it came to being. And the jelly fish starts to talk about first cells, primitive organisms in the sea and through an entire story of evolution comes to present. Suddenly it stops and with tremendous pride in its voice says. "And finally came jelly fish..."

Autumn Blues

Photobucket

I walk a long path of a thousand different colored leaves

Scattering it's great beauty and it's individuality

Shall I travel amongst the wooded gates to gaze upon the road?

Maybe hop a train change my spectrum so I know that I really know.

I want to see past this road

I want to see past this life

Past all these acorns that drop on my head through the night

With you, I can arrive to the other side

Dust your boots off and face the cult of personality

Your inner path will lead you to spirituality

But if you take the wrong path and can't get back

Baby, I know that you and I will eventually get on track

Because...

I want to see past this road

I want to see past this life

Past all these acorns that drop on my head through the night

With you, I can arrive to the other side

I look into the doe and bucks dark eyes

I tell them I eat them and they don't look too suprised because

I am them, they are me, I am the grass, and they are the sea yet we all keep believing the myth, we all keep believing the myth.

I want to see past this road

I want to see past this life

Past all these acorns that drop on my head through the night

With you I can arrive, With you I can arrive, With you I can arrive to the other side. I can arrive to the other side.

I wrote this song last fall after looking at a picture of an autumn path and thinking back on a dream I had as a child. I also incorporated the knowledge I had learned from reading the book "The Story of B" By Daniel Quinn.

Cool album fact: While recording the song Autumn Blues (you can't hear it yet beacause the album isn't finished) I sat on the back porch of The Anderson farm and the universe laughed at me while acornes graciously dropped on my head. :)

-2038- A Message Through Time-

Greetings,
My name is Jamie Reeves and I have a message to deliver. The human race is in danger and we should all reach inside of our creative souls and pull out something beautiful so we can save our planet and ourselves. The purpouse of this blog is to share the making of my new album -2038-A Message Through time- And to post my poetry and lyrics.

The song 2038 was written on July 16, 2009 during a major solar eclipse.  I saw an image of a woman (much like myself) living in a post apocolyptic planet in the year 2038 surrounded by souls who had forgotten that the true revolution of technology was inside of them. (Not much different from 2009)

I began to poor out my soul at the exact moment the eclipse was happening, and the song unveiled it's mask very quickly, and a chill ran up my spine. In my mind, songs are a lot like living, breathing, organisms, just like our planet.

Lyrics:

2038

Language is strength but I don't have words
I have a chemical spirit that guides my heart and I know that it's always right at the end of the day.
Social experiments and mass control I just keep on meditating let this story unfold
Open your eyes 2038

Chemical tears and mechanical hearts will not mend your soul its artifical art but we keep on pushing for immortality
We've got part human animals and walking machine, THEY DON'T MEAN ANYTHING THATS ALL MATERIAL AND I'M TALKING SPIRITUAL ALCHEMY!

Dependency-don't wrap those chains around me
To all those broken stars
Light workers will follow forever
I'll love you forever

I feel this eclipse and the gravity hits the taste of the chemicals seep into my lips I just feel so sensitive to this energy
I miss my blue skies and the auras of the trees sparkling water the fish in the seas, there just a remenant of what we once were, of what we once were.

Oh, Memories
controllers can't take them away from me
to all those broken stars
Light workers will follow forever
I'll love you forever

After writing the song I started to do a bit of research on 2038 and eclipses. I came across this image on google images. An eclipse in the year 2038, the exact day that I wrote the song.

A bit of self prophecy? Or the universal mind speaking through my soul? I think so. But who knows. I am in no way shape or form trying to spread any sort of fear much like the media trying to brainwash people into thinking that we are all going to die on December 22, 2012.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/6519923/Ignore-the-movie-2012-will-not-be-the-end-of-world-say-Mayans.html">2012 will no be the end of the world, say mayans.

To hear an acoustic verson of "2038" you can visit my myspace. There will be 2 versions of the song on the album!! Woot! Woot!

More Poetry and lyrics to come! I'm soo excited.
